Ukelele Travels was founded by a Venezuelan-Lebanese family that spent a decade chartering boats out of Los Roques and flying Cessnas into the Gran Sabana for friends. Eventually friends started bringing friends.

We do not run group tours. Every expedition is a single party — yours — with a dedicated lead guide, regional sub-guides drawn from the communities we move through, and logistics built from the country up.

Our work depends on a long-standing local network: Pemón guides in Canaima, fishermen and captains in Los Roques, architects and chefs in Caracas. We pay locally, source locally, and refuse work that would damage either.

We are based in Caracas with representatives in London and Miami. We answer email within 24 hours.
